a fortnight....

It's one of those islands you just have to go back to.......so we did.
While we were on holiday, Louisa and Nicholas both had a birthday. One on the 19th and the other on the 27th.
And this was the view we saw when we woke up on the first day.
Here's Louisa and Natalie under the palm tree in the swimming pool. (sorry !...I know you've seen it on the screen already, but it helps to keep this commentary in line with the pics.)
Next, Louisa and Natalie stand infront of the apartments we rented.
On Louisa's Birthday, she wanted a pool party. And as it was her birthday, Michael and Linzi throw Louisa in the pool. Don't worry, she enjoyed every minute of it, infact, she went back for more.
Natalie can't swim yet, so here she is holding tight around my neck, while I do the swimming for us both.
Now it's time to relax. Michael Louisa and of course me on the lilo.

The scooters were a god send for getting around the island, and the kids loved riding on the back. Here's Natalie on the back of my scooter.
At Louisa's pool party, we met some friends from York England, so they joined in to eat the food.
The birthday cake was excellent!
Nicholas wanted a party and meal for his birthday.
Here we all are at a lovely place called The Captains. I can recommend the Sword Fish.....
Today there was a petrol strike. Here Michael and Lyndsay wait for Gaz to come back with some petrol in a can......... where did he get the can from???.
Gaz who's 15 years old, could not keep off the scooter. I think he slept on it. Here he is meeting us as we walked along the sands to town.
What's that in the water Michael ?????
We hired 4 scooters for the fortnight, the little ones got on the back and we toured the island. Here we all are on the scooters. From left to right:- * Me and Natalie * Gaz * Michael and Nicholas * Linzi and Louisa. |
